Types of Hydraulic Cylinders / Jacks
The range of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic jacks we offer are as follows :

Tie rod Type Hydraulic Cylinders Or Oil Cylinders Or Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinders
'SANTEC' manufacture cylinders as per customer's specifications & requirements & can accommodate customer's design & drawing. These cylinders are operated by applying oil pressure to the cylinder in both directions. These cylinders may either rod ended or double rod ended type.

Single Acting Hydraulic Cylinders
In these cylinders, the oil pressure is fed only on one side of the cylinders either during extension or retraction. When the oil pressure is cut off, these cylinders return to the normal position by a spring or by an external load or through the force of gravity.

Telescopic Hydraulic Cylinders Or Multistage Hydraulic Cylinders Or Hydraulic Cylinders for Truck Tipplers
These cylinders are generally used where space is restricted & are available in both double action & single action, stages upto six depending on the application & capacity. These cylinders are designed as per customers' applications requirement.

Pneumatic Cylinders, Air cylinders:
'Santec' manufactures pneumatic or air cylinders from 50 mm to 1000 mm bore sizes & stroke length upto 2000 mm in tierod design. Using all imported seal kit for trouble free operation.

Quality

» Cylinders are manufactured under strict supervision by our quality assurance departments.
» Special cylinders required for critical application in Atomic, Hydro And Thermal Power Plants, Defence, Aerospace-Industries, Railways, etc. can be supplied with external agency (SGS, Lloyd shipping, etc.) certification as required by customers.

Seals

» All 'Santec' cylinders employ international quality Seals, that are self-adjusting for long trouble free life.
» Presently we are using "Hallite", "Parker", "Nok", "SJ" (Korea) or equivalent make seal-kits in our cylinders as per International norms & Standards.

Tube

» Seamless honed barrels of ST-52 grade to a micro-finish provide long piston seal life and prevent failure of the cylinder.
» The barrel material is selected on the basis of application & working pressure.

Piston Rod

High strength steel piston rod is precision ground and hard chrome plated and regrinded to ensure anti-corrosion and maximum seal life. The rod material is EN-9, CK-45 grade.

Piston - Cast Iron.
Cylinder Base

One end of the cylinder is precision bolted in case of low pressure cylinders, but in case of high pressure cylinders the base is threaded & then welding is done with utmost accuracy & precision.

Mounting -All mounts are of steel.

Hydraulic Cylinder Range :
» Bore Size :- 25mm to 1100 mm Max.
» Pressure :- 10 to 700 Bar

Both welded & tie rod construction. Special cylinders using one piece Barrel are also produced on request.

Pneumatic Cylinder Range :
» Working Pressure:-150 P.S.I.
