Overview

Hydraulic Forging Press made available by us find wide application in is widely used to form car wheels, bushings, gears as well as forged fittings like Tee, Elbow and others. The Hydraulic forging press allows the metal to be stretched beyond yield point to form desired shapes. These Hydraulic Forging Presses are based on specific requirements of customers. These 'H' type Press comprise of major components including: Some of the common forging methods these are used in include:

Hammer Forging
Preferred for individual forging where shaping of metal is done by instantaneous application of pressure to relatively small area. Here, hammer delivering intermittent blows to section that requires to be forged, applies the needed pressure.

Press Forging
This process is where slow continuous pressure is applied to area that needs to be forged. With pressure extending deep into material, the process can be completed either cold or hot.

Die Forging
Open and closed die operations which can be used in forging. In open-die forging dies are either flat or rounded that allows large forgings to be formed. In closed-die forging metal is trapped in recessed impression that is machined into top and bottom dies and with the pressing of the dies, excess metal is squeezed out to produce parts having more complex shapes.
